The tap handle @ The Bow&Arrow calls this Stone Hammer Dark, but a rose by any other....
Sweet malty aroma, chestnut, very small tan head. Caramel, treacle, butterscotch, with some woody notes. Nicely balanced, medium bodied, bitter finish. A very good offerring!

amber brown pour with a bit of musty bitterness and a nice solid malt that lingers well beyond the watery pour. A decent brew. RayOhm (474) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 28, 2011
not much of an aroma, some faint malts. dark brown pour. some chocolate malts and light hops in the flavour. not bad Metalchopz (3530) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 5, 2016
Single can from the LCBO. Pours a clean, deep amber colour with a beige frothy head, good retention and creamy lacing. Nutty roasted malt aromas with hints of coffee, caramel and even chocolate. The taste is roasted malts, kind of watery, with notes of caramel and some decent hops in the finish. This creates a little grassy bitterness and dryness. Not bad, but missing a little balance. UPDATED: JUN 1, 2017 Clear brown pour, larger head. Caramel, bready in the aroma and taste. Lighter coffee note. Lighter to medium body. Easy drinking.

0.473 can. Clear, brown color and a small, off-white head of poor retention. Malty aroma of caramel, and a bit of roast. A medium body, a somewhat creamy texture, and a soft carbonation. Finish is nice, malty, sweet - rather pleasant. Overall not a bad beer but nothing special either. Gaelic (199) - Rotterdam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 1, 2017
Brown ale, small head. Touches of caramel, toffee, some bitters. Drinkable but not very special.
