UPDATED: SEP 13, 2013 on tap at the golden kiwi. re-branded as golden kiwi lager. pale yelllow pour with minimal head. almost no aroma but for some grainy pale malts. grainly pale lage malt driven taste. not terrible but far from inspired. ////////////////// light yellow with a white head. Pretty well hopped but fairly fruity yeast mlt combo. This really drinks like a light golden ale. Pretty good but not enough genuine lager character.

341 ml bottle-Pours a light gold sparkling body with a finger of white fizz. Active carbonation. Grainy nose with steamed veggies and a fruity 7-up like aroma. Sweet pale malt flavours are backed with grain, sweet fruity, almost apple juice like flavours. Light, watery finish. I really wouldnt want to drink too much of this one.

Had under the F & M Barrelhead Draught alias....Light golden body pillowy head. Grainy aroma. Light malt. Someone tried to say that this was really loaded with hops. HAHAHA nice try. Weak hop bitter with grain in the flavour... mild malt. Watery finish.

Bottle. Very still and light in appearance - just a hint of yellow in an otherwise clear body with a small white head. The aroma is a bit soapy with some apple and perfume notes. Light spritzy body with apple and astringent grain flavours. Seemed to have gotten worse as the sample progressed.

Corn malt nose, palest of yellows, small white head. Squeak of malt flavour, no hops at all. Watery, bad.

Bottle sample at the 2007 GTAs. Pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of bready malt and light floral hops - quite nice, and more than I expected. Crisp body. Well balanced flavour, with a nice twinge of hops in the finish. Quite a surprise for a light beer.

[539-20070818] Sample @ BeerBistro (Golden Taps, Toronto, ON). Freshly baked grainy bread yeast aroma is lightly floral. Clear, pale yellow body with a long-lasting foamy white head. More freshly baked bread yeast in the flavour. Light body. A surprisingly nice light beer!

2007 Golden Tap Awards. Crisp pale yellow body with a small white head. Sweet floral, butter cup aroma. Similar floral hop character in the flavour, moderate hop bitterness throughout. (6+) Average palate. Decent pilsener/lager, excellent for a "light" beer.
