341 mL bottle. Pours muted red with a thin white head of foam. Nose is biscuity malt, maple, caramel toffee and woodsy hop. Flavor is nicely balanced, sweet through the midpalate, but finishes dry with a light bitterness. Light to moderate body with average carbonation. A satisfying day-to-day brew. cyrenaica (1126) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 16, 2012

I tried this beer in tap on May 4, 2012 at "C’est What" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent cherry red colour with a thin creamy white cap that laced well. The aroma was grainy malt, floral hops, some caramel and a hint of maple. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, some weak sweetness, and bitter/sour aftertaste. The maple is weak, but still makes an appearance.
Lots of caramel malts, brown sugar, and cereals. Finish was very light, and a tad watery, more caramel, and some light maple. Meh.

Decent carbonation, though head fades eventually. You can smell the maple. Had this right after Lake of Bays Rouse and the latter has it beat on cask. This is a clear red. Has some sourness with a tiny off note to after taste. Cask at Castro’s Lounge. Tessic (1146) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - APR 11, 2012
This ale poured a deep amber colour with a big, beautiful, light tan head that was very creamy looking. To the nose there are scents of Maple, malt, dough and cream. First sip had medium flavour with a nice maple background. Not to heavy on it. Flavours of maple, caramel and toast are most prodominant. Finish is slightly hoppy with a light bitterness on the tongue. lukin (621) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 6, 2012
cask at the Wooly. Red-ruby colour, small soapy looking head. Aroma of earthy malts, maple, wood. Taste is nicely balanced, the maple is subtle not overpowering. Enjoyable. whitecap (289) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 29, 2011

Deep garnet with a tight white head. The aroma is very sweet and caramelly. A bit of a soapy sort of maple character. Very grassy and sweet with a lot of odd soapy flavour. Meh.
