Pour out of 16 oz can, dark black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of coffee, roasted malt, slight metallic note, some oats, cocoa. Taste was a mix of cocoa, roast, coffee, iced coffee into some earth, slight dark fruit, finishing sweet, slightly roasted. BrewWhatIWant (238) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 17, 2017
Pours black with a short lived brown head. Aroma is oats, roasted malt and coffee. Taste is slightly bitter with a hint of sweetness and some astringency. There are notes of dark roast coffee with milk, brown sugar, and a touch of dark chocolate. Medium bodied and medium carbonation. It’s a bit watery but overall it’s pretty good. Smells like coffee beans, tastes roasted and coffee like, not too heavy bodied, pretty nice. Kauge (1974) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 8, 2016
Can from LCBO. BB Aug 2016. Pours reddish dark brown with moderate light tan head. Aroma of... well, yea, some roast and ground coffee. Tastes sourish-bitter roasty, dark bitter chocolate and ground coffee. Pretty mellow on the palate but hardly the oatmeal softness I’d have expected. Very thin but in a way active carbonation, livened by the stimulating effect of coffee. Overall pretty good but I would’ve loved even more coffee in this, and perhaps more softness too. Dark pour, large offwhite head and good lacing. Fresh brewed coffee, chocolate in the aroma. Roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate taste. Medium body. Not bad at all. Would like a bit more oomph behind it.

473 ml can from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass. Metalchopz (3416) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 14, 2016
App.: Deep brown-black with a fairly firm mocha head.
Aroma: Roasted malts, light to moderate coffee, a little dark chocolate, sort of a thick, grainy/cereal thing, a touch of molasses.
Palate: Medium to medium+ body (expected more) with fairly full and prickly carbonation (expected less).
Flav.: A bit more coffee, still plenty of roasted malt, doesn’t get astringent or roasty bitter though, a touch of dark chocolate, fairly dry and stark; dry with moderate bitterness and a smooth, roasted malt finish.
Fairly competent. “Oatmeal”, to me, means a bit more body and mouthfeel than this offers. The coffee is nicely expressed (expressoed??).
Can from the LCBO listing 5% ABV. Pours a dark brown, almost black colour with very little highlights. The head is creamy, bubbly, long lasting with some nice dirty lacing. Chocolate malt aromas with hints of coffee and roasted malts. The taste is mildly sweet from the oatmeal, over the roasted malts, chocolate and coffee notes. Decent Oatmeal Coffee Stout but nothing too exceptional. MarkoR (959) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 22, 2016
On tap at The Loop, in Toronto. Pours a black colour with a generous tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, chocolate. Taste is same. Pretty good. GlennHendry (465) - OSHAWA, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 12, 2016
Inky black pour with a creamy tan head that dissipates quickly. A ton of roast coffee on the nose with dark chocolate and more roast coffee on the tongue. Very nice. CurbDog (119) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 12, 2015
Very small tan head, fades quickly and clings to edge of glass. Very dark brown / black. Roast, chocolate, oats, coffee aromas. Matching flavours with an ashy finish with malty sweetness. Slick silkiness from the oats, med-high carbonation. Coffee balanced.
