341 ml bottle. Pitch black with a huge sticky brown head. The nose is pretty nice - soft coffee and a bit of roasted character. There's also a little bit of light cocoa and a bit of roasted character as well. A lightly acidic component as well. Okay - if a bit pedestrian.

A bit of a nutty, coffee aroma and a fairly average taste. Not bad by any means but doesn’t stand out too much. The oatmeal is faint in the smell and taste, but it lurks in here somewhere. On cask at volos whitecap (289) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 3, 2012
Bottle purchased from the brewery. (5% ABV)Pours dark brown, almost black with a fair light brown creamy head that quickly dissipates into a thin cap with good lacing. Aroma of coffee and herbs, licorice and cocoa. taste is mostly dry and mildly bitter. Palate is light carbonation and watery texture. Overall It’s a great beer for Ontario standards. Couple of tweaks and this will really shine. rodenbach99 (4572) - Longueuil, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 13, 2011
Bouteille de 341ml. Merci Patrick.

draught at the Wooly. Deep black colour, brown head. Aroma was all coffee. A little underwhelming, but I think it was served a little too cold. Taste is dark roast, coffee, a touch of licorice in the aftertaste. On a dreary rainy day, this was a very enjoyable beer. RayOhm (474) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 23, 2011

I tried this beer on draught on November 18, 2011 at "C’est What" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer pours a sold dark brown with a medium brown foamy head. The aroma is mocha, coffee, and vanilla. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour was coffee, chocolate, anise, and vanilla
Bottle, pours a nice black with a tan head, this beer was really quite amazing, up there with the best of them Tessic (1194) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 24, 2011
This oatmeal stout poured a deep black colour with a beautiful, light brown, creamy head. To the nose there are scents of coffee, cocoa, roasted malt and cream. First sip was smooth and very coffee flavourful. Other flavours of cocoa, caramel and burnt toast aswell. Finish was very roasty with coffee flavours lingering forever.
