sample pack lcbo, pours golden color light head dissapates quickly. Small grassy aroma with a bit of floral note, smooth crisp and clean finish. This is an ok pilsner. Tiger_08 (138) - Sarnia, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 5, 2012
May 4 2012. Pours cloudy yellow with thin white soapy head which immediately dissolves to ring. Little lacing. Aroma is cereal, straw, hints of roasted malt or oats. Taste is primarily the same; cereal and straw with a nice hint of roasted grains in finish. No sweet or bitter aftertaste but good crisp mouthfeel with slight alcohol on moderate carbonated palate. Really just par pilsner but enjoyable. wintyguy (69) - British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 26, 2012
5% Premium Pilsner. Pours a golden yellow. Thin white head. Aroma is nutty, sweet, cereal, wet cardboard. Taste, good mouthfeel coating, but unfortunately the cardboard continues, although previous cereal good biscuit remains. Overall not too bad. Might have waited too long to drink the bottle. I purchased the bottle at the brewery in October/11 and didn’t consume until late Jan. kevinsenn (2214) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 2, 2011
Bottle from LCBO. Pours clear and yellow, with very little head. Aroma has some skunkiness, and grassy/fruity hops. Somewhat bland taste; some decent hops, with no detectable bitterness. Nothing wrong with this one, but nothing special about it either.

Nothing wrong with this one at all. Good clean mouthfeel with a good typical pils bite. whitecap (289) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 29, 2011
341 refrigerated bottle bought at the Guelph LCBO.
Pours clear yellow with a small frothy disappointing white head. aroma of straw reminds me of a standard pilsner. not very malty and somewhat dry but minimal bitterness. Fairly thin and nothing special. This is most certainly not F&M’s best.

Dark golden, a bit cloudy, white frothy head. Smells of apple juice. Floral hops, lemon with a hint of sweetness, lots of light bubbles, almost champagne-like. A mostly crisp finish with a bit of sour zing left on the tongue. sseb69 (1909) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 6, 2011
Bouteille 341 ml. 5%. Couleur jaune pâle un peu voilée. Arôme de malt, un peu sucrée. En bouche, un peu d’alcool et de malt. Finale en houblon léger, malt. Correct probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 9, 2011
341 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear light golden with a thin white head.
Aroma: Starts odd with a sweet nutty note, then some pleasant cereals, decent grassy hops, toasted rice, a sort of wet ash note, a hint of fruitiness.
Palate: Medium body and carbonation with a bit of the characteristic Pils smoothness.
Flav.: Grainy, cereals, cooked cereal, a bit of grassy hops, a little straw, a little cardboard, a touch of vague fruitiness; dry with a little bitterness and a pleasant biscuit malt finish that is a hint metallic.
Drinkable but misses the mark stylistically and comes off a bit bland.
