Bouteille 341 ml. 5%. Couleur jaune pâle un peu voilée. Arôme de malt, un peu sucrée. En bouche, un peu d’alcool et de malt. Finale en houblon léger, malt. Correct

I deleted my review of this beer from last year because I felt that the changes done to it, basically, made it a whole new beer....so a new review is in order. I am aware the brewer is now using soft spring water and better hops in reformulating this German style pils. It certainly had a great deal of impact as this is now one of the tastiest ( if not the best) Ontario micro pils. Poured into my glass as a pale straw, slightly hazed lager with a nice fluffy white cap that lasts and laces the glass well. Champagne-like carbonation with spirals of small bubbles coming of the glass bottom. The nose is filled with a pleasant blend of musty fruits, herbs and sweet bready malt aromas. Medium-light body has good malt pronouncement balanced well with herbal hops and a unique musty fruit tone ( from the yeast). The finish is lightly bready and very citrusy with a slight bittering aftertaste. A very pleasnat blend of tastes, very drinkable and satisfying for those who like malt accented Gernam pilsners. This will be a standard summer quaff for me.

More of a decent American lager than a pilsner. Not so bad as such but just not as clean or defined as say Neustadt Lager. Certainly lacks hoppy detail for a pilsner, there is some bitterness but it lacks the floral dimensions. Not a go-back beer for me.

I thought that this beer was mediocre at best. Obviously mainstream oriented. Faint hop bite to the body, but not a lot in the way of aroma or any kind of distinguishing characters. On par with something like Molson Export.

Clear gold. White head. Light, mildly biscuity aroma. Light, grainy feel. Sweet, biscuity flavour w/ notes of wet cardboard & grassy hops.

Excellent pilsener. It’s great when someone local makes something good. Very golden in colour. Had a quickly dissipating head to it. Nothing major. A nice balanced beer that I would recomend.

Old rate. Bottle from LCBO. Pours a hazy blonde with a thin white head. Aroma is honey, light cardboard. Flavour features a chalky malt with notes of honey, crisp german hops, and medium body. Reasonable for the style.
