can. pours unclear bright gold with a small white cap offering some retention and lacing. honeyed pilsner malts, mountain dew*TM, caramel/diacetyl; white grape maltiness, some grassy herbalness, so-so yeast. moderate carbonation - almost spritzy; light body - fairly thin for its abv; balanced herbal-grassy finish. surprisingly, its pale lager (which is quite reductive) little brother, F & M StoneHammer Light, seems to reflect a tiny bit more a cleaner lager as it did not contain as much off-flavours, but close.

Pours clear yellow gold with a moderate white foam. Aroma is light floral hops and grassy grains. Taste is a great blend of grains and floral hops.

First of two Ontario Pilsner tonight (the other being the Perth one). Pours a light golden colour with a white cap, almost creamy, long lasting and with some creamy lacing. Sweet malty nose with some bread notes and honey. A little hops, but more apparent in the taste. Decent bitterness and Saaz notes. This calms down the sweetness in the mouth. Good cereal malts overall. Refreshing, crisp and quite drinkable. Maybe a little too rich for a pilsner.

Bought a can from the beer store. Pours clear gold with a big white head. Aroma is malts, cereal and honey. Flavours are grains, grass and honey.   Light body with medium carbination. Really nice beer.

Smells like a German Pilsner. Fairly strong hop aroma.

Pours a clear gold colour.

Tastes like a German Pilsner (very similar to Warsteiner). Hops is present, but in perfect balance.

Lots of carbonation. Goes down smooth with little aftertaste.

I was a little nervous to buy this beer. Overall I was very impressed. A good drinking beer, made with premium ingredients and produced locally. How can you go wrong?

Solid pilsner. Great appearance but lacks the hoppy kick of a great pils. Would drink again but not seek it out

Pours a clear, bright yellow/gold with small white head. Mild aroma of grass, honey and bread. Flavour is a plesant mix of grains and grass with a nice honey sweetness. Fairly light body. Went on a bit of a pilsner tasting rampage.

I’m always chasing rainbows. In this case, the rainbow is a locally made pilsner that doesn’t suck. Yes, pilsner, that oh so unhip beer style that moustache waxers sneer at. I like ’em when I can find a good one -- which is rare. This one is better than expected, especially considering some of the dismissive reviews below. Pretty decent arc of the pilsner experience here: crisp, somewhat flowery hops, with that swishy absorbic acid like flush in the finish. Better than Creemore & King offerings. Still, doesn’t come close to the Victory Prima Pils that I was able to enjoy in the States. Still chasing rainbows.

341 mL bottle. I want to like this, but it’s not fermented properly or something. It’s too sweet, and has that corny kinda smell that some poorly made beers have. It’s no tun drinkable, but it’s not worth buying again.
