In short: An excessively flowery-soapy clean golden IPA. Meh.
How: Tap at brewpub.
The look: Clear Coca-Cola color body topped by a persistent small beige head.
In long: The hoppy nose of medium intensity is mostly floral with citrusy undertones, bright and very clean. Body is a bit on the thin side, a medium carbonation, typical mouthfeel for an uber-clean slender thirst ale. Taste is crispy toasted crackery cereals, a tiny bit of caramel and honey, flowery hops developing grassy notes and then the whole thing turns soapy-perfumy in the finish and after-taste. Somewhat drinkable, the annoying soapy-perfumy character is not strong enough to make it a bad beer, but it is not a good beer by any stretch of the imagination. When a glass contains a Kettal beer the optimist is the one who sees the glass as half-empty.

Pours a clear amber color with aroma of toffee, caramel, and sweet fruit. Very sweet flavor with lots of toffee, caramel, and dark fruit. Decent beer, but a very different IPA.

I was excited to see a small craft brewery after being forced to drink San Miguel all week. Unfortunately this beer was badly infected - very highly carbonated, wet dog aroma, watery body, strong notes of lactose, wouldnt settle out. A real shame. The 2 other beers - the Doble Malta and Pale were similarly infected.

En botella. Color cobrizo, poca espuma y burbuja fina. En nariz casi no aporta nada. Algo de cereal, pan, lupulo muy escondido. Em boca resulta sosa, sin matices. Se aprecia ms los cereales que otra cosa. Final pobre. Cuerpo ligero, muy bebible. Refrescante. No parece una ipa. Muy floja.

Light haze on this dark amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and crisp. Thin crisp malt with sweet toffee. Minerals. Little malt cream. Crisp finish. Passable but hardly an IPA.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma had notes of citrusy hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and straw, leading to a dry finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge white head. Aroma is grapefruity. Bitter, smooth fruity. Lingering fruity and light citrusy into a crisp finish.

Bottle at Gbbf 2013. Pours hazy amber, medium head. Mellow fruity hoppiness, quite a bit of pears. Some bitterness. Not entirely uninteresting.
