Lots of malts and raisins in the aroma together with a touch of cocoa. Taste is nicely smooth with just a light carbonation. Flavour has a light roasted malt bittersweetness. Great beer that is not dissimilar to a classic English premium bitter.

I was excited to see a small craft brewery after being forced to drink San Miguel all week. Unfortunately this beer was badly infected - very highly carbonated, wet dog aroma, watery body, strong notes of lactose, wouldn’t settle out. A real shame. The 2 other beers - the IPA and Pale were similarly infected.

Clear amber beer with a good pale cream coloured head. Minerally crisp palate. Clean mild malt, whisper of caramel and light cream. Neutral finish. Meh!
