Dogbrick (14387) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 19, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 20, 2017 Sample at the Rhinegeist Rare Beer Fest 10/28/2017. Clear orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of grapefruit, piney hop and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrus, dank hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sampled at The Festival 2015 in St. Pete with Vinny. Pours a golden body with white head. Great nose - fresh grapefruit, pine and bright grassy hop. Mouthfeel reveals much more caramel malt - which takes over and dominates the palate.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Fruity citric hops, grapefruit, lighter grassy notes, and mild malty sweetness. I’m guessing Citra and something else. Pretty good.

Golden pour at the Festival, medium body and head. The aroma smells great on this double with pine, grapefruit, and resin. Flavor has more caramel malt, lemon, pine, and a strong bitterness. Solid but not into imperial ipas these days.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Juicy grapefruit aroma with pine and light summer fruit. Grapefruit and pine flavor with summer fruit. Medium bodied. Very good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger with summer fruit and light caramel.

On tap @ Farmers Union. Clear golden-orange pour with a white head. Heavy citrus such as grapefruit and sweet orange juice. Slightly herbal and plenty of pine. Kind of malty and sweet. The flavor is a bit oily and super citrusy. Plenty of grapefruit, orange, and pine. Somewhat bitter, but a fair amount of sweet malt and citrus fruits. Not bad.

Had on tap at Stone Liberty Station in San Diego. Pours a golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is floral and some pine. Really nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at Stone Liberty Station, SD, 13/11/14. Clear golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is caramel malt forward, pine infusion, herbal notes, bitter hops, orange peel. Taste comprises earthy hops, straw, grapefruit, woody notes, bitter hoppage, tangy citrics. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close, a real bitter bastard. Ok DIPA, lacks a bit of balance for me, little 1D on the bitter front.

On draught at Ale Arsenal. Overt citrus. Pours orange and clear with a full white head. Flavor is more balanced to the bitterness, with a moderately high bittering. Citrus and juiciness shine through.
