First one in the defcon series that was actually obviously the style it portrayed. Still oddly light in abv and body, though the quad is guiltiesy there. Fruity and yeasty, though, with a light pleasant hop bite.

Had on draft at the Mikkeller bar. This is a sweet perfumy triple. Lavender floral notes. The sweetness is to great for my palate.

On tap @ Faction. Clear light orange pour with a white head. A great pear and apple nose. Some hints of spice to this such as clove and white pepper. Mildly herbal as well, perhaps sage. There’s a decent bread note, too. A lot of caramel and baked fruit to the flavor. Some canned pears and cooked apple. Hints of grassy herbs and a touch of spice. Mild bread, some brown sugar, and clove. Maybe vanilla. Okay.
