A German Pils like I like them with lovely bread and herbal features on a light and delicate cereal backbone. It goes down pretty easily.

Papery gluey aroma. Pale. Watery, fizzy. Papery lagery taste. Sticky bitter finish. Bad lager, eastern european macro levels of bad. I’ve had a better Van Pur!

Really solid pils here. Aromas of corn, bread, yeast, and hops. Similar to Summit kellerpils, very very good. Crushable

Borresteijn (7355) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 26, 2017
50cl Can at RBESG 17 Grand Tasting. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma is very fruity, lychee, melon, not really to my taste, light grassy. Flavour is fruity as well, halfway this turns into a real German pils with a nice malty and grassy flavour, light spicy and lemony bitter finish. Light bodied. Crisp, but I don’t dig the fruits.
