Bottle. Gold color with a thin head. Aroma of funky pear and overripe apricot with a bit of dry oak. Slightly acidic flavor. Very tart. A bit grassy. Ripe fruit. A little mango. Very light vegetal. Finishes dry.

Minnesota Trip Beer #176. Keg at the brewery, 5/12/16. Hazy golden, thin head, poor retention. Aroma of tart lacto, apricot, peach, funk. The taste is apricot, funk, pale malt, peaches, rye, bready malt. Medium bodied, lingering tartness, low carbonation, bright.

Bottle shared at kickback. Poured a hazy pale golden color. White head. Aromas of lemony limy grape. Taste is citrus and sour. Way better than I was expecting. The name put me off.

Tap at the brewery. Pours gold with a skinny ring of white head. Aroma is tart funk, some mild fruit. Taste continues that, dry, some tartness.

On tap at the Modern Times Festival of Funk. It pours a clear yellow gold color with a white head. The aroma is lemony and tart. The flavor is a little more spicy with good lemon/lime tartness. Low, but perceivable and pleasant. There’s a little bit of an herbal off note that I don’t care for, but this is mostly pretty nice.

Bottle @ The Levi Tastinh. Gold pour with a white head. Aroma is barnyard, leather, some maure. Lemon peel. Flavor is moderately acetic. Lemon and wood. Somewhat acetic. Moderately sour. Light body, nimble. Good.

Very light yellow pour, bottle shared by Caleb - thanks! Very nice beer. Nose is slightly funky with some grape character. Funky, sour, mild oak character, grape tannins. Yummy.

deyholla (11914) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 19, 2016
Bottle shared by Caleb, thanks! Pours a hazy light yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of rye with a good amount of funk and a bit of earthiness underlying. Flavor has much more of a sour fruit note with a good amount of rye and a funk backing.

Bottle from Caleb. Yeast in the aroma. Flavor is dry and soir, this is probably the most sour beer they have produced. This is good.
