A smooth, malt-forward beer that’s as rich in flavor as it is in color. Well balanced with some light caramel and toasted flavor provided from the variety of grains used to make the beer.

Pours dark copper color with no head and no lacing. Aroma of caramel, bread, and nuts. Substantive flavor with caramel, fig, and bread. Very nice.

Clear, dark reddish pour with moderately thick but quick foam. Good malt in the nose, slightly nutty and some earthy / hay notes. The malt comes through in the flavor with a surprisingly pleasant spicy aspect. The hops remain earthy and bitter. Moderate body, active fizz and the finish is slightly bitter. The hops do well to balance the malt, but not overcome the overall flavor. It’s still an amber ale.

Cybercat (6219) - Georgia, USA - MAR 7, 2017
Pours clear copper-honey with a fairly thick though not long-lasting buff head. Aroma features fresh malt, yeasty and hay notes plus a hint of woody hops. Flavor offers more in the way of hops, a bit of woody bitterness, still the fresh malt, less yeast. Mouthfeel presents average body, peppy fizz, and a hoppy finish. I think, therefore I drink beer.

Bottle thanks to Seth. Pours a hazy orange with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is toasted malt and caramel. Medium mouth, bready malt, toast, light bitterness, ok.
