Fairhope 51 has a thick, spongy, yellow-white head of foam, a hazy, yellow-orange appearance, with lazy bubbles, lots of gray yeast chunks, throughout, and moderate glass lacing. Aroma is of sweet white bread, bread crust, and oranges. Taste is the same, with orange marmalade and robust, yet, not harsh, bitterness. There is a dirty or earthy aspect to this ale. Mouthfeel is high medium, and Fairhope 51 finishes mostly dry. RJT

Still pine bitter. A little more medicinal with a different yeast action happening. Not my fave but decently drinkable.

Pours clear topaz with a thick, frothy, persistent porcelain head. Aroma offers fresh malt, citrus and resiny hops notes. Flavor nicely echoes the aroma, not quite as strong but pleasing. This beer is a joy to drink. Mouthfeel presents typical body, energetic fizz, and a hoppy and fruity finish. Any number is a good number for beer.

Squat bottle. Pours clear straw with 2-fingers of frothy, off-white head. Nose was pale malt, hops, mild yeasty funk. Tastes hoppy, floral, pale malty, with some sweetness.

Bottle (with too much age on it, I’m afraid). Need to try this again fresh. Clear orange pour with a small to moderate white head. Kind of an orange hop thing in the nose with a little funk? Taste is bright, save the stale hops.

Bottle. Amber in color with a nice two finger head. Aroma was a tad on the weak side. Notes of citrus fruit and grains. Taste was also very weak. Flavors of grapefruit and roasted grains.

Pours a nice orangish color. Aroma is big citrus hops. Flavor of a classic pale, big hop flavor.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is fruity malt and earth. Medium mouth, honey, sweet malt, light finish, good.

on tap @ Fairhope / AL --- Aroma of biscuit and malt. Bright clear medium amber, white head, and hanging strands of lace. Looks good. Taste is malt with biscuit and light caramel that glides through a medium fizzed swallow to clean floral hops in the finish. Basic, yes, but also very well done.
