Bottle. Two of the four bottles erupted with volcanic purpose. Each had slightly different body characteristics, with varying degrees of foam and activity. The inconsistency was a bit odd. On average, this is heavily frothy, with craggy foam that won't quit. It's milky thick too. On the flavor scale, it's immensely chewy with a thick caramel backdrop. The hops are robust and woodsy, leafy and earthen. (#6851, 12/7/2017) edgallow (4745) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 28, 2017

Light haze to an orange pour. Aroma is orange and leather. Taste is citrus and bitterness. Enjoyable. gripweed57 (3093) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - JUL 30, 2017
12 ounce bottle. Deep orange gold color. Rocky beige head with clinging lace. Fruity malt nose. Bittersweet citrus hops right out of the gate. Then, a huge blast of peppery bitterness. Rich and complex middle. Notes of caramel and earthy malt. Finishes dry and bitter with herbal notes. Alcohol notes as well. Very well done.

(Take The) Causeway IPA has a medium, creamy, ivory head, a clear, minimally bubbly, orange-copper appearance, and a bit of glass lacing, left on the glass. Aroma is of brown sugar, some fruit, some flower, and lightly-toasted bread. Taste is of peaches or mangoes, white bread crust, and sweetness. Bitterness is not strong, but it builds. Mouthfeel is high medium, and (Take The) Causeway IPA finishes on the dryer end. RJT Patrickctenchi (6862) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAR 24, 2017
Hazy amber with an off-white head.
Pine, (cactus?), orange aroma.
Sweet, but resiny....nectary fruits, orange malt, caramel malt flavours.
VERY good....sturdy, rich body.....right on the edge of an Imperial, but easy to drink.....nice sweetness to bitter balance.

Pours clear yellow with a thick and persistent ivory head. Aroma starts with a strong note of resiny hops and then presents tangy citrus and a bit of fresh malt. Boldly hoppy flavor delivers evergreen, bitter, fresh hop and citrus tones, not spectacular but pleasing. Mouthfeel features decent body and peppy, ragged fizz. Take this causeway! jrob21 (3963) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 9, 2017
More on the bitter resiny pine side of the equation. Light orange color. Caramel sweetness to balance things a bit. Good local IPA I would drink a ton of if it was my local beer hopdog (13374) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 5, 2017
12oz bottle. Poured a hazy golden color with an averaged sized head. Earthy, pine, with some fruitiness.
