Bottle 0,5 l at CityKrogen Kiruna 27 Mar 09 labled "Falcon Juløl". Dark amber - almost black colored. A rapidly disappearing tanned creamy head. Modest malty aroma. Surprisingly watery flavor. Some caramel observed. Sweet bitter finish. saxo (20023) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 23, 2009
Bottle. Nice head with medium duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are malt, caramel and notes of fruits. RuneStumo (2739) - Haugesund, NORWAY - FEB 6, 2009
06.02.2009, 0,33l Bottle. "Falcons Juløl". Black colour with a one cm thin head. Aroma is sweet malty. Medium body, but the finish is a little watery. larsga (7690) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 1, 2009
Big brownish beige head goes coarse and shrinks. Barely translucent dark red body with carbonation. Roasty earthy caramel aroma with chocolatey notes. Delicate and balanced. Dry-sweetish roasty chocolatey caramelly taste with papery minty notes. Full-bodied. Smooth, buttery mouthfeel. Dry cinnamon and licorice aftertaste with earthy notes. Very nice. Much better than expected. (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg. Label says "Falcon Julöl".)

500 ml bottle labelled "Falcon Julöl". Very dark brown, almost black, with red hues. Clear. Medium sized light beige fine-laced head. Neutral aroma with hints of plum and red berries. Slightly bready nose with some caramel. Light crisp hop bitterness. Soft texture with relatively little carbonation. Soft dark roasted malt flavours. Malty flavours with little sweetness. Hints of cookies and plum. Some dark caramel. Overall a nice Christmas beer with a good malty backbone. This is obviously not a Vienna. yespr (49162) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 30, 2008
50 cL bottle as Falcon Julöl. Pours dark brown with a small light tan head. Roasted breadish malt aroma. Smooth caramel and breadish malt flavour for basis and with nice hops bitterness to counterbalance this. Lasting malty and bitterhops impression into the finish. KnutAlbert (6815) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 20, 2008
Rich, malty, a little smoke, some dryness in the finish, a little sour.
Some spices and berries, burned suager. Andold fashioned Scandinavian Christmas beer. Ljunkan (530) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - MAR 23, 2008
Better than the ordinary Falcon, but that, on the other hand, doesn’t say anything. It’s just something with the taste I can’t stand. Rune (14039) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 29, 2008
330ml bottle. Cool xmas logo. Clear mahogany body with a low-level head. Poor in aroma - only lightly hints of sweet malts. The flavour brings notes of roasted malts added by a touch of sweet dark berries. Short tail and a bit too sweet (Linköping, 25.01.2008).
