Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good - fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark bread, caramel, burnt brown sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.
50 cL bottle as Falcon Julöl. Pours dark brown with a small light tan head. Roasted breadish malt aroma. Smooth caramel and breadish malt flavour for basis and with nice hops bitterness to counterbalance this. Lasting malty and bitterhops impression into the finish. A deep red-brown beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet strawy, while the flavor is sweet with light notes of metal, caramel, and acid, leading to a dry slightly hoppy end. I find it somewhat like a malt drink. joergen (27983) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 11, 2006
Clear orange coloured with an off white head.
Aroma of malts with notes of caramel.
Flavour of malts and caramel with hoppy notes. oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - APR 14, 2006
Bottled. Dark amber coloured, with off-white head. Aroma hayish strawy. Flavour is sugary and malty. A bit hayish notes to it also. Palate becomes sticky in the finish. Also hints of sweet malts in the aftertaste. Ok brew, though I would enjoy more Christmassy hints in it...

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark amber with a thick and handsome head. Very malty with notes of caramel and a very subdued bitterness - the sweetness is much more present, but it never gets cloying. 201201 omhper (24970) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 25, 2004
Bottled. Dark brown, small vanishing head. Sweet clean, hard mouthfeel. Lightly roasty with no malt flavours and low bitterness. There’s nothing enjoyable in this bottle... fiulijn (20411) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 8, 2003
Brown color, generous head. Light malt aroma and caramel. Less sweet than many other Julöl, some malt and caramel; ordinary palate, still with some caramel. rlgk (18847) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 24, 2003
Light amber/copper color with an ok head. Aroma is less sweet then most of the other x-mas beers. Flavor is dough, sweet but a little thin. Nothing special...
