0,5 l Flasche als Falkenfelser Maibock. Rotbraunes Bier, cremeweißer Schaum, schöne Gardine. Riecht chemisch, beisst in der Nase, aber auch schön malzig süß. Schmeckt malzig, alkoholisch, unangenehm bitter. Zlotta (3828) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - MAR 31, 2017
Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from local ’Netto’ as ’Falkenfelser Maibock’, best before September 2017. Clear, dark reddish amber with a thin, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly malty and a bit boozy aroma of caramel, some honey and a touch of alcohol. Quite sweet, malty taste of caramel, some honey, a touch of red fruits and hints of nuts, followed by a medium long, quite bitter and boozy finish. Medium body, minimally creamy and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Not very refined, but still drinkable. jfb (6674) - GERMANY - DEC 28, 2015

Bottle from Netto, malty nose with hints of orange and black pepper, bittersweet and toasty, with touches of Seville orange marmalade and a caramel and faintly herbal bitter finish. Excellent for the minimal price! pivnizub (10813) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - FEB 8, 2015
Bottle(Nette Gabe von Sabine!): Deep golden with copper spots, clear, small and stable and lacy off-white head; brown bread, sugar and caramel in the mild nose, supported by bittering hops; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, but pretty light bodied for a Bock - similar to the Bocks from the GDR ; lingering bitter and malty finish. Not a great beer, but an easy-drinking Heller Bock… Piw (1254) - Rüsselsheim, GERMANY - JAN 10, 2015
500ml Flasche. Klar und bernsteinfarben. Sehr malzig. Überraschend gutes Bier zum günstigen Preis. dirtyrat (44) - Bowling Green, Ohio, USA - NOV 20, 2014
Pours amber, hazy. Malty with a solid finish. It’s another Falkenfelser beer... nothing that is memorable or particularly exciting. But the cost makes it hard to beat. Good to keep around in the fridge for just unwinding at the end of an otherwise unremarkable day.
