Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Some white haze in this golden beer. An off white head is one finger plus. Not a big aroma but some floral notes and yeast. Flavor is surprisingly gentle for such a big beer. Floral and stone fruit and something like saison yeast. Melon zest and some kind of spice. Alcohol is hidden. With an ABV over 10% I would expect a LOT more from a beer. This drinks like an APA. Nothing offensive at all. But so little bang for the buck. hayduke (5742) - Eureka, California, USA - AUG 10, 2017
Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Pours orangish gold with a big white head. Nose is floral hops an stone fruit. Medium body. Pours orange gold with a slight white head. Nose of citrus, atone fruit, and pine. Medium body. Flavor is a bit mild for a DIPA. Citrus. fruit, pine like the aroma. Finishes with a hint of something spicy which might be the alcohol; Drinks easily. The name and the ABV establish expectations that are not met but if you can get past that this is a decent beer. Pours clear golden with a small white head, some lacing. Floral, citrus, earthy, bready and bitter
Orange pour. Thick and viscous for the style. Citrus and pine dominated, with some bitterness, and sweet toffee malt undercurrent. Not too shabby. DavidWoodruff (631) - Windsor, California, USA - APR 18, 2017
Hazy orange with a quickly dying white head. Huge (yuge) malty/piney aroma. Big malt/hop school of aroma. Malty/hoppy confluence of taste perceptions. Love the malt forward balance with the hoppy, funky undercurrent. Yes, I got my groove on and I am ready to party with the funkadelick hop machine!!!!

Loved their regular IPA so had my hopes up, & had been a bargain at the brewpub--$6 for a bomber. Maybe the alcohol clashed with the hops, the malt presence was low and the beer thin on the pallet. this beer mumbles, the flavor murky., davidm (2081) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAY 27, 2016
Great beer with a hop kick. Very long flavour, with pine and citrus. Balanced.

On tap at Final Gravity. Pours dark golden with a bery thick beige head and a citrus and toffee aroma. There is a full-bodied caramel malt flavor with a nicely bitter finish. Well-made. bhensonb (16122) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 5, 2016
Bomber from Final Gravity. Pours orange gold with a slight white head. The aroma is incredibly hoppy, but there’s so much I can’t parse it. Like induced nasal paralysis. It just makes me think of honey - which it clearly isn’t. Maybe there’s some vanilla. Full bodied or nearly. Hop forward. Flavor is spicy, citrus, stone fruit, grass. Or more. There’s a burn which I think is hop rather than alcohol. It’s not completely dry, but the hop really is in control here. It’s not really harsh either. After awhile my tongue is suggesting resin/pine as a part of the mix. I’m impressed. bb (9900) - Alamo, California, USA - AUG 25, 2015
Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Light sweet caramel and citrus aroma. Sweet caramel and citrus flavor. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Sweet caramel and citrus lingers with light earth.
