caramel, chocolate, roasty, cheese, butterscotch, black, brown foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, full body, creamy, bitter, graham_murphy (706) - - NOV 3, 2017
Quite sweet and sticky but not overly so. Very milky - the lactose comes through. Can't say so much for the salt - but maybe it's in the background sharpening the other tastes. Plent of chocolate and a little liquorice and coffee. Good desert stout. tricksta_p (5349) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - NOV 1, 2017
Can from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is dark malt with lactose, fairly strong candy sugar, caramel, mild chocolate, notes of liquorice, and a hint of roast. Flavour is sweet with a little roasty bitterness. Body is medium. Decent, but a bit heavy on the candy sugar.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2017 Cask at Hanging Bat in Edinburgh. Chocolatey aroma, head lasts nicely. The salted caramel was quite feint to be honest but went nicely with chocolate and hops. Decent beer. batneil (799) - - OCT 13, 2017
Rather sweet, with only the faintest hit of caramel. Smooth and creamy, almost pitch black with a decent head. Towey1989 (3435) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2017
Gravity at The Nottingham Beer Festival. A deep brown colour with a thin beige head. Aroma of salted caramel, molasses, some plum, maybe cherry, slight chocolate, a little coffee and subtle liquorice. Taste of molasses, liquorice, dark fruits, some salted caramel, slight chocolate, a little toffee and subtle coffee. Medium bodied and a slick texture. A sweet and sticky, salted caramel and liquorice finish. True to its name, chewy indeed. Like salted caramel and liquorice sweets maybe. A little fruit and subtle roasted malts add to this delicious beer. Quite thick and sticky but I like it. Mortlach (2532) - Rome, ITALY - OCT 9, 2017
Handpump @Mad for Beer (Rome). Bruna scura, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige media e persistente. Al naso sentori di malti tostati, cacao in polvere, liquirizia, toffee. In bocca è dolce all'attacco con finale appena amaro e leggermente sapido, molto ben equilibrata. Corpo medio, carbonazione soft. Ottima! rodsquad (379) - Aberdeen, SCOTLAND - OCT 7, 2017
Can from Oddbins Rosemount. Pours darkest brown with a tall foamy tan head. It was badly poured but still looked good. Aromas of roasted coffee with smooth caramel sweetness. It has a light fruity tail reminding me of prunes with vanilla ice cream. When it comes to the taste the roasted coffee is there with the smooth caramel folded in. That fruity finish is still there too. It's full bodied with a light finish and gentle carbonation. The first two-thirds of the experience is full-on roasty stout but it finishes so light and fruity it stands out with its difference. Subtly quirky and nice for it.
