From tap at Faribar in Aarhus 12.07.17 as Indslev Fairbars Økologiske Pilsner. Translucent pale hay colour. No head or lacing. Decent, but discreet, aroma of pilsner malt and grass. Similar taste. Low bitterness. mmmeinike (185) - Odense, DENMARK - JUN 16, 2017

9 degrees C. Pours slightly hazy yellow with medium white head with quite short retention. Bottom half of bottle much more hazy. Slight aroma of grass, wheat and bread. Taste somewhat bland, grassy and with a bitterness that seems to appear without hoppiness, citrussy or otherwise. Actually, I find the aftertaste the best part of this brew. Here the bitterness becomes quite pleasant though totally dominant. Not quite in balance and nothing special, but drinkable nonetheless.
Bottle at home as Blok Pilsner. Pours almost clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grains, hay, grassy, light citrus, light apples, quite malty and fruity. Taste is light bitter, light fruity, quite sweet, light biscuit.

(backlog from CBC16-weekend, as Pilsner Øko). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, grassy, mild herbal and some salty notes. Flavour is floral, grassy, wooden and quite earthy with some bready notes to it as well. Wellbalanced.
Copenhagen 24/6 2016. 50 cl bottle from Rema1000. Working class hero pouring beer into a mug from a barrel. Looks like hard work. Pours hazy yelow with white head. Disappears fairly fast leaving thin rim of foam. Aroma of malts and grains with a sharp bitter tang. A little saltiness. Strong prickly carbonation and watery palate. Taste is medium sweet followed by quite distinct bitterness - true to the Czech style. A good fit for my tastebuds - without being neither innovative nor original.
