Idiosynkrasie (8055) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - SEP 11, 2016
330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with small, frothy, quickly fading, beige to tan head. Alcoholic, chocolately malty aroma, notes of chocolate sauce, treacle, plum, cognac, alcohol. Taste is chocolately dark malty, alcoholic, hints of cognac, calvados, treacle, raisin, plum. Unaccountable alcohol punch is unnecessary and unpleasant.

Draft. A black beer with a brwown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, and caramel, leading to a roasted finish.

yngwie (17262) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 25, 2015
Bottle, at Haand Festival. A dark brown beer topped by a small, dark beige head. The aroma is boozy and bonfire-ish, with charcoal and some prunes. Some sweetness show up in the flavor, but mostly it’s the same dry charbcoal and bonfire known from the aroma. Booze too, giving a warming feeling on the palate. It’s full-bodied and lightly oily, with a lasting bonfire finish. Well, not bad in any way this one, but sure not my preferred kind of porter. 140524

larsga (7668) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 30, 2015
Small beige head. Opaque black body with deep dark hazy red at edges. Spicy roasty chocolatey aroma with alcoholic wine grape notes. Dry-sweet spicy roasty earthy taste with alcoholic licorice notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, flat mouthfeel. Dryish spicy earthy chocolatey aftertaste with peppery cedar wood and toffee notes. Interesting and different, but not really that good. (0.33l bottle, from Fish & Beer, Copenhagen.)
