Pours black with a dark brown head. Aroma is minty chocolate, hints of dark sweet fruits, pretty mellow, smooth and sweet. A bit one sided but it smells good anyway! Taste is rich dark minty chocolate, fudge, roasted notes, hints of dark sweeter fruits, vanilla and overall smooth like an after eight ! I’m a sucker here. joergen (28168) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 19, 2012

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2012 Tap @ Mikkeller. Pours deep inky black with a small brown head. Aroma has lots of mint and dark chocolate, molasses, liquorice, a hint of dark fruits. You actually get the base beer, when you smell through the peppermints and chocolate. Taste is heavily sweet, lots of chocolate, thick syrupy feeling, chocolate ganache, a bit of roastiness in the far back. Then, in the finish the peppermint chocolates really come forward and leave a refreshing after taste of mint, which balances nicely with the hard roastiness in the finish. Definitely one of the best Jesus-variants of the evening. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2012

Draught, pours black with a small head. Very minty, tooth paste, spiced, dusty, roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, dried fruits, vinous, very low carbonation, taste follows through up front you get the coffe, chocolate and roasted malts, then the mint kicks in and joins with the roasted bitterness. Weird but quite enjoyable Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 21, 2012
Draught at Mikkeller Bar. No head. Pitch black body. Coffee caramel choccolate liquorice mint aroma. Coffee caramel liquorice choccolate mint flavor with little hops bitterness. Actually the beer is quite sweet but on the other hand this is contributing to hiding the high alcohol percentage very well. Low carbonation. Long sweet finish. faroeviking (10913) - FAROE ISLANDS - OCT 23, 2012
