COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: This beer was a lovechild from start to finish. Born as a result of good times at Fanø Bryghus between a bunch of thirsty and ticking frenzy ratebeerians and the hospitable brewer family The Witter-Merrithews. The occasion was “Fanø Bryghus Slumber Party 2012” a really terrible excuse for a great barbecue, good beer, funny games, excellent company and….brewing a beer. The beer was developed as a joint venture with everybody allowed to join in. Then brewer FrumptyDumpty transformed the input into a functional recipe. Although brewed in the midst of the bright (well…) Danish summer we brewed a rich and potent beer for those darker days: a Belgian-style Quadrupel made with heather and rose hips. Contributors (one way or the other!): Brugmansia, Christian, Dedollewaitor, FrumptyDumpty, Papsoe, princesslala, Theis and thewolf.

Bottle @ WWT III, courtesey of Borresteijn. Pours a very dark brown beer with a medium sized, slightly tanned head. Aroma of yeast, dark fruits, caramel malts and slightly alcoholic. Flavour is very sweet, malty and alcoholic. It’s hard to describe this, but it’s awesome in balance and greatly crafted. Awesome brew!

What's not to like? 50 cl, flaske, 10.7 % ABV (denne version), BB: 12/2020, købt i Meny i Rotunden i Hellerup. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, 10%. Sweetish aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small tight light brown head. The flavour is sweet with a faint teaish hop note and a distinct raisin sweetness to it. Brown sugar, perhaps. Some alcohol, but nicely subdued, balanced by the raisin sweetness, I guess. Alcohol bitterness in the finish.

500 ml bottle. Clear, dark amber body with a decent beige head that fades. Aroma has dark malt, dry fruit, hint of wood and chocolate, delicate and a bit vinous. Flavor is sweet malt, dry fruit, brown sugar and moderate but balanced bitterness. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. A nice, tasty and complex beer. Very enjoable.
