COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: This beer was a lovechild from start to finish. Born as a result of good times at Fanø Bryghus between a bunch of thirsty and ticking frenzy ratebeerians and the hospitable brewer family The Witter-Merrithews. The occasion was “Fanø Bryghus Slumber Party 2012” a really terrible excuse for a great barbecue, good beer, funny games, excellent company and….brewing a beer. The beer was developed as a joint venture with everybody allowed to join in. Then brewer FrumptyDumpty transformed the input into a functional recipe. Although brewed in the midst of the bright (well…) Danish summer we brewed a rich and potent beer for those darker days: a Belgian-style Quadrupel made with heather and rose hips. Contributors (one way or the other!): Brugmansia, Christian, Dedollewaitor, FrumptyDumpty, Papsoe, princesslala, Theis and thewolf.

Very dark red/brown, almost black with a thin head. Aroma slightly acid, dominated by dried fruit: plums and figs. Quite sweet and that dominates the taste, with a bit bitterness at the end.

Many thanks to berühmter for sharing. Smooth sweetish beginning. Malty, grain, nice fruity herbal. Fresh, not too sticky and quite easy to drink. Sessionable, deep and fruity.

50cl bottle. A clear dark reddish brown beer with a mid-sized good lasting beige head. Aroma of dark riped fruits, wood, intense sweet malt, alcohol. Taste of overiped fruits, oxidized malt, dark malt, caramel, figs, red fruits, a bit boozy.

500 ml bottle, probably bought in Denmark. ABV is 10%. Cloudy dark brown colour, thin beige head. Disappointing aroma of dust and grain. Fairly nice flavour, moderately sweet and malty, notes of brown sugar, hints of mild spices and herbs.

Black with a dark off white head - Dark malt arom with some sweer dark fruit - Sweet malt body with some fruity tones in the back - The sweet dark malts goes into the finish that lasts - This was real good

What's not to like? 50 cl, flaske, 10.7 % ABV (denne version), BB: 12/2020, købt i Meny i Rotunden i Hellerup. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50 cl. bottle at home. High fluffy but unfortunatle very quickly disappearing light brown head. Very dark red brown body. Powerful wineous roasted malt sour berries aroma. Highly carbonated bitter sweet roasted malt berries heather caramel with little hops bitterness and a long sweet finish. Alcohol well hidden. Would have loved being present at the brewing. My fault.

Very dark brown, small beige head. Aroma has caramel, syrup, dried fruit. Sweet flavour, dried figs, syrup, prunes and warming alcohol biting my lips. Very nice.

Bottle 50cl, a dark brown beer with medium head. Nose is on ripped fruits such as plum, fig and apple, marmalade touch as well as cooked wine. Taste is quite sweet, almost no bitterness, texture is oily and syrupy. Aroma is on cooked wine, plum, red fruits sweets, violette, bit tannic, touch of cinnamon, finish on ripped fruits.
