A hazy orangey beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of pepper, yeast, malt, lemons, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, lemons, straw, yeast, and malt, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light. Thanks yespr for sharing.

2 L growler thanks to my wife Dorthe. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is brett and hoppy fruity, vague estery. Crisp brett, citrusy, peachy and grapefruity hoppy. Light yeasty. Smooth and crisp hoppy finish.

On tap. Hazy golden with an off-white head leaving laces. Dry, spicy and lightly Bretty aroma. Medium body, a light fruity sweetness, again spicy with a touch of yeast and then again a pleasant touch of Brett. Fairly hoppy finish. Quite exciting! I found no traces of Bitter here, but Saison indeed. 081112

On tap at William IV. Cloudy orange lokks like a cider. Some brett some butter some bitterness. Yes too much toffee

August 19, 2012 - draught at King William IV Witterfest. Deepish gold pour, hazy/cloudy, with a small but lasting fizzy white head. Aroma is quite sweet and floral, and is that a bit of diacetyl in the background? "taste - that’s a little smokey - and a bit funky - does this have some brett in it? smack smack smack" - indeed. Thick, airy, dry, coating - hint of woodsmoke - a little weird.

On tap at the King William IV - Witterfest. Hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Smooth palate, a little soft. Nice mild lemony citrus with medium brett and seltzer flavours. Nicely joined up. Alright.
