Frisk og smag af blomster og humle...........................................

DraftDodger (1619) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 30, 2017
Copenhagen 30/6 2017. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Label is spring Green and in Fanø Bryghus slightly generic design. A little late for a Spring Beer. But what the hell. Pours hazy golden yellow with white head. Dissolves fairly fast leaving thin layer of patchy foam. No lacing. Aroma is strong and sweetish. Honey, sweet malts, sweat and a whiff of alcohol. Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is rather sweet followed by light slightly spicy bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and lightly boozy. A little bit heavy for a Spring Beer - maybe it’s for the part of spring where you sit indoor and watch the rain pouring down

WillemsUrenkel (1947) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - DEC 10, 2016
0,5 l bottle from vacation in Denmark last October. Unclear red golden with a small fast fading white head in the glass. Very low malty on the nose. Taste starts with some present hop, malty background, little bit alcoholic sharpness. Nothing less or more. Like a lot Helle Bocks. Medicore stuff.

Theydon_Bois (20136) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2016
Bottle split at CBC Islo, thanks to Ruth and Chris, 07/07/16. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is spice, earthy fruit rinds, fruit loaf, biscuit. Taste comprises brown bread, sweet and sour vibes, dates, light spice, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Adequate fayre.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co Islington - London. Many thanks to Chris! Pours hazy gold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds lightly toasted wheat, caramel. Medium sweet flavour with faint paper, more bready pale malts, caramel, light hay. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately sweet on the finish, sugary, with nips of paper, grains. Alright.

Big Bottleshare at Craft Islington. Thanks to ChrisO. Hazy amber beer, thin pale tan head. Palate is airy and mildly dry. Strong malts, raw and grainy. Some ripe fruits. Dry finish. Super clunky.

mR_fr0g (12879) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2016

Scopey (15261) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2016
Vintage bottle thanks to Chris & Ruth. It pours hazy orange -amber with a medium white head. The aroma is earthy, wood, must, honey, spice, vanilla custard and brown bread. The taste is woody, creaminess, tangy, vanilla custard, custard creams, alcohol, must and toasted grain. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not bad for its age.
