Bottle. Very dark brown with medium tan head. Flavour is roasted malts, sweet, spices, chocolate, coffee and vanilla. JorisPPattyn (10026) - Ursel, BELGIUM - APR 2, 2011
Huge dark-beige head over very deep red-brown beer. Chocolate nose, mixed with fresh vegetable aromas (cucumber,...), later coffeebean-sweets. Hints at iron. Not very spiced in the nose. Spices arrive in the finish of the taste: coffee, mocha and black chocolate come first. Again coffee sweets. As said, spices are there in the finish, but difficult to determine which - apart from a peppery impression. Cinnamon I might well believe. Well-bodied, quite slick, some warming feel. Good winterwarmer. madmitch76 (25009) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAR 27, 2011

Bottle at ACBF. Clear very dark red beer. Crispish and semi dry palate. Mild vanilla and very mild cinnamon. Creamy malt and sweetish dried fruit. Nicely put together - not overdone the spice.
Sampled at ACBF 2011. Very dark brown colour with thin tan collar. Beef meaty aroma. Cinnamon nutmeg spice in mouth. Bizarre beer. Coffee and spice. Cant get away that it tastes of beef crisps. Bizarre Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAR 23, 2011
Small light brown foamy head on top of an almost black beer (with a ruby shine through).
Smell coffee, chocolate, toffee, mocha and some light roasted malts and spices.
Taste coffee, mocha, sharp, bitter, hops, spices, herbs, light liquorice and a hint of anice.
Low carbo, medium to full body, soft mouthfeel and a watery texture. Nice beer.

Cinnamon-vanilla aroma. Dark brown in color with off-white head. Roasty with golden grahm cinnamon tones. A nice complex beer.

Bottle at ACBF 2011. Black with a tan head. Aroma is spicy, yeasty and with coffee. Flavor is slightly minty, with licorice and spices. Quite smooth. Nice balance. Strange but nice brew. Ungstrup (37934) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 24, 2011
Draft. A hazy dark brown beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and coffee. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt as well as medium notes of coffee and sweet malt, and light notes of cinnamon and vanilla, leading to a dry and roasted finish. Stefano (2015) - Thisted, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2010
Dark brown to black with a huge creamy head. Aroma is roasted, vanilla and light biscuit. Flavor is smooth coffee sweet and slight molasses touch. Sweet and coffeeish finish.
