Black beer which tastes Like cold coffee with some wired side taste. Points are higher than it deserves. Really don’t feel like drinking the 0,4l glass

Bottle from Vinmonopolet Lambertseter enjoyed at home
Pours dark, dark, tanned head. Smells of burned malts, coffee, liquorice and caramel. Heavy sweet, quite roasty, coffee and caramel. Moderate bitter finish, some malt bitterness as well. Quite nice seasonal, some spices that reminds of Yule tide and dark winter

Pours pitch black with brown head. Nose of sweet chocolates and malts, very appealing. Nice, smooth aroma of sweet chocolate, hints of caramel and balanced coffee presence. Right up my alley! You Danish people know what you’re doing!

Pours pitch black with a small light brown head. Aroma of roasted malts., coffee, chocolate and hints of anise. Taste is quite roasty and heavy on chocolate and coffee notes with some spicy notes and hints of anise and vanilla. Finish is sweetish with a lot of vanilla, spices and hints of cinnamon and anise. Nice, quite christmasy porter.

tfredvik (1939) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 21, 2012
Black body with a large, creamy head that unfortunately is short-lived and doesn’t leave much lacing. It never completely disappears, though. Strong delicious aroma with a thick chocolatey feel, roasted notes, coffee, fruits, sweet sweet vanilla, with some faint hoppy and yeasty notes in the back. Light sweet taste that lasts into the aftertaste, the spicy finish is moderate bitter. The flavours are roasted with coffee notes and fruits upon a lovely gently spiced background. Medium to full body, pretty dry texture and soft carbonation. A very nice beer, I really like the way the spices are integrated into the flavour profile.

berlinoise2go (689) - NORWAY - DEC 20, 2012
Bottle (50cl) from Vinmonopolet, Oslo. 7.5% ABV. Small, but lasting light beige head that sticks nicely to the glass when swirling. Black colour. Aroma of roasted malt, licorice, cinnamon, smoked meat. Medium/full body, soft carbonation. Quite complex, semi-sweet ’meaty’ and spicy taste (cloves, aniseed, menthol) that becomes drier towards the finish. Well-balanced with high xmas factor.
