Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. Very rustic aroma - must be the rye. Solid. Medium body, burned caramel flavours, dry, malty but not overly hoppy. Sort of like a slightly hopped up Amber. 300615

bartlebier (3934) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - FEB 5, 2015
Surprisingly on very fresh [email protected], Strasbourg 01/2015. Smooth Ruby-brown pour. Aromas of stone fruit, mango, redwood remain intimations, before being dampened by a pinesap lid. Flavour is contained & unfathomable at first: berry boughs, twigs, woodiness, ¿Rye? Centennial earsmear hop bitterness is well cushioned, but peirces through in the finish. Green twigs and young honey abound.
