Palme (4812) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 4, 2016
0.33l bottle. This is a deep dark cloudy mahogany colored one with a small quite bubbly light beige top. Lots of woody, fruity and vinous tones in the nose. Both sweet and sour in a way, lots of vinegar, tannins and even a little bit of chocolate. Not bad at all. It’s however a bit all over the place in the taste. Lots of woody vinegar, tannins, over ripe red berries and some dark sweet caramel. Sour and sweet. All this wrapped in a thick oily mouthfeel with a below average carbonation level. Not bad at all, but perhaps a bit messy in a strange way. 20.07.2013

Bottle from trade with Plovmand, many thanks Thomas!

From old notes. From tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Amber color with off white head. Funky aroma, fruity, bretty, wood, caramel malty. Sweet and bitter taste, funky fruity again and wineous. Medium oily body with soft carbonation

33 cl bottle @ Pikkulintu, BBE 2015. Aroma has red wine, sourish berry tones and wood. Flavour has tart berries, red wine, wood and hints of vinegar. Also some grilled meat at the end of the glass. These sour reds seem to work for me at this age.

330ml bottle, beer gift from Skinnyviking. Fawn-coloured head reduced to a bubbly surface. Dark apricot coloured body with sediments. Ripe tart fruity aroma. Fruity tartness to the taste character mixed with caramel malts, yeast and oak. Vinous,Fine bodied. Decent palate cleanser (shared with Finn at a session in Tromsø 11.02.2015).

Flaske 330ml. Gave fra Lars. Delt med Rune på Nerstranda 11 Feb 15. Mørk ravfarget. Lavt skum. Frisk syrlig fruktaroma. Mye sedimenter igjen i flaska.

On bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika. Hazy copper colored, ok foam. High aroma intensity; funky, autumn leaves, cloudberries and good yeast influence along with some barrel influence. Medium body & complexity. High sourness, some bitterness. Very enjoyable

Bottle... Pours mostly clear with a burnt-caramel hue and a small, off-white head. The aroma is a fusion of caramel and roasted malts with a slight splash of acetone. Full-bodied with tingly carbonation. The flavor is malty and tart, but also astringent – caramel, lactic acid, acetic acid and solvent. Abrasive, acetone finish. Something went wrong here. Bottle courtesy of Plovmand! Great trader. It ain’t his fault.

jesperhammer (4826) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 22, 2014
19-SEP-2014, bottle @home, from Kihoskh. Hazy borwn with low off-white head. Aroma is tart - already when oppening the bottle. Wood, , red wine, balsamico, brett, Coca Cola. Taste the same. Tart, medium body, soft carbonation. Quite full body for a sour actually. Touch of sweetness. Really well-made Flemmish Brown.

9, 11, 11, 12, 11, 11 - 10,95
