COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Cloudy amber with a medium white head. Fruity, citrus and hoppy aroma. Taste has notes of grape, malt and caramel.

heavy (2890) - Split, CROATIA - AUG 11, 2017
Dec. ’16. On tap at Be.Re, Rome, with ippopotamo36. It poured a hazy orange body with medium sized head. A bit of caramel and some tropical fruit hops in it generally weak aroma. Flavor was lightly to moderately sweet, caramel, almond, citrus peel, sugar and yeast. Medium body. Lightly more hoppy in the finish, which wasn’t too bitter anyway. Just lightly herbal within caramel and sugary biscuit. Expected more, but it was a correct APA, only on the sweeter and despite that, still light side. Sub par.

DraftDodger (1620) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 23, 2017
Copenhagen 23/6 2017. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Usual Fanø design with some Corn Ears, hops, Sea Horses and an anchor. This time in cream. Pours hazy reddish amber with white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is sweet exotic fruit with a fermented and slightly decaying twist. Citric overtones. Soft carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter. Finish is semi-dry. Decent but a bit generic IPA. Have tasted far better from Fanø Brewery.

0,5 l bottle. Bright copper in the glass with a lot of sediments. Nearly two finger foamy head. Floral spicy and citrus sweetness on the nose. Taste starts hopy, crisp, citrus. Malt in the second row. Later hints of caramell. Less bitterness in the aftertaste. Smooth. Sweet.

Shared bottle in Vatlandsvåg at SM’s 60th birthday. Clear, dark orange. Huge, foamy and persistent beige head. Even lacing. Refreshing aroma of caramel, hops, grass and meadows. Similar taste, with malt bitterness. Slightly metallic.

En rigtig god IPA. Den har de rigtige noter af humle og blomster som sådan en skal have. IPA sympathique.

KansaiBeerLvrs (5235) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 29, 2015
Part of a 10 euro, 6 beer blind tasting set at Trois 8’s biergarten event in Paris. The third beer in the set was a West Coast Style IPA. It had an aroma of lemon/citrus with a balanced malt sweetness. Soft bodied but slightly chalky with flavors of bitter pine. A straight up IPA.
