POLK (2219) - Hørning, DENMARK - MAY 10, 2013
april13: Dark Brown Imperial stout with a really nice beige foam. The scent of roasted malt. Delicious creamy filling. lovely rich, roasted chocolate flavor.

cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 7, 2013
Pour is jet black with very little dark mahogany head. Nose has light pest and barrel up front with a heavy sugary and sweet malt presence. Taste is overly sweet malt, under attenuated and messy for the most part. It has a dry finish with a fair bit of peat, ash, light barrel, and some bitterness. The sweetness and ash linger together. It lacks focus and integration. It’s big, thick, well carbonated but messy.

JK54B (1602) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 10, 2013
Draught at Pikkulintu. Coffee in the nose. Brown head. Dark black reddish color. Sweetish malty taste with average hops. Some licorice and syrup and hints of smoke too.

Chalsk (1104) - North Caldwell, New Jersey, USA - MAR 28, 2013
On tap at Torst. Pours a dark dark brown with a carmel colored head. Aroma of roast, vanilla, chocolate, and spice. Sweet roasty chocolate taste with some spice. The alcohol comes through. Just an amazing brew.

Rune (13003) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 27, 2013
330ml bottle brought back home from Ølbutikken in Copenhagen. Thick oily pour. Dissipating brownish head to a devil-black body. Sparse lacing. Peat malty aroma joined by ash and dark anise. The peaty flavour is well integrated with earthy malts, anise and dark fruits. Vinous palate. Lingering malt bitter finish supported by alcohol warmth. Full bodied. Very nice, slow sipper. (Tromsø, 26.03.2013).

Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 26, 2013
Pours thick oil dark black oil in color with a mocha head that has a cinnamon crimson hue. Aroma brings huge smokey peat notes so smooth and delicious in the nose. The flavor and body are equally as wonderful with huge roasted malts, coffee, and cacao to start off and then the smooth and sweet smokey notes come in, followed by a drop to dryness that I never expected.

jredmond (8338) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 25, 2013
Sampled at Torst courtesy of Eric. Pours a deep blackish brown body with thin lacing. Aroma is chocolate, espresso roast, oak and malt. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of sweet espresso, toasted malts, light earthiness, and bitter chocolate. Okay.

jtclockwork (16725) - , New Jersey, USA - MAR 23, 2013

Bottle at pikkulintu, helsinki. Black color, very small brown head. Strong delicious sweet aroma of roasted malts, licorice, hint of whiskey. Smooth and balanced taste, nice smoke behind, licorice. Very nice, taste could be little longer.

Kingi (664) - - MAR 23, 2013
Dark roasted chocolate aroma and taste. Aroma also has some whiskey and noticeable but not overpowering smokyness.
