Bottle. Pours a pitch black color with a dark tan head. Aroma is of smoke, I get campfire smoke, some meaty smoke like smoked ham and sausage, burnt and ashy notes, coffee, roasted malt, dark fruits and dark chocolate. Flavor follows the nose with lots of campfire smoke, burnt wood, some slight meaty smoke again smoked ham comes to mind, more sweetness in the flavor of chocolate, and dark fruits, coffee and again the burnt notes. The body is full with a nice creamy mouth feel. Overall a pretty nice Smoked Imperial Stout.

A heavy beer, almost like pouring syrupy out of a bottle. Black. Light-brown head, medium duration. Aroma is dark, roasted, wine, dark chocolate. Flavor is heavy sweet, light acid and moderate bitter finish. Syrupy texture and soft carbonation.

33cl bottle thanks to onkelgobber. Pours opaque black and sticky with a gorgeous big crema. The nose has fresh strawberries and biscuits - maybe jammy dodgers. There’s also dare I say it, a cough medicine note or something herby. Eventually, as you go down the bottle, it’s giving a smokey/charcoal note at the end. The taste has savoury, maybe even meaty, then leading into toffee and nuts, it’s praline! If I’m being picky, it’s a bit cloying but with the richness in the body and the texture it’s not going to be clean, but good length all the same. Overall, an excellent multi-dimensional beer.

Dark brown coloured beer with a creamy beige head. Aroma is vinous mixed with roasted malts. Flavor is roasted malts, liquorish, dark fruits, chocolate, coffee going into a slightly smoke bitter finish. Heavy palate and very long finish. One of my favorites.
