On tap. Pours an opaque black with a light brown head. Roast and smoke in the nose. Solid body, heavy roast and bitter chocolate a slightly woody touch, but not all that smoky flavours (thankfully!). Ends with a distinct malt bitterness and a warming alcohol. 170212 madmitch76 (25009) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 19, 2012

Bottle from Olbutikken. Opaque black beer. Huge thick dark tan head. Palate is soft and a little dry. Soft dark malt, a whisper of coffee plus that weird emulsion paint vibe I sometimes get from BA beers. Unsweet dark chocolate. Soft mellow smoke - well integrated. Finishes soft with a dark malt linger (not bitter).
