Bottle, really old. Pours oily black with no head at all. Aroma has light spegepølse. It’s quite oxidated. Sweet and malty with smoky undertone. Port, chocolate, toffee and dark malts. Taste is very mellow. Chocolaty with smoky finish, that just keeps developing. Full soft and sticky body.

Bottle @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pitch black pour with a tan head. Notes of smoke, tar, ash, licorice, peat, dark malts, some roast and some sweet chocolate. Vestergaard (2089) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - JAN 7, 2016
Bottle thanks to Mads! Pours an oily, pitch black with no head, but a thick, reddish hue. Aroma has lots of mellow, dark chocolate, smoke, lots of nice, aged malt stuff going on. Roast, toast, caramel. Taste is sweet, leathery smoked, spice, caramel, slight alcoholic, super mellow and smooth. Low carb and sticky hips. corby112 (2804) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 14, 2015
Pitch black and completely opaque without even the faintest hint of lighter color and a two finger, frothy beige head that has excellent retention, only slowly fading into a cap/thick, lasting ring. Splotchy lacing left behind.
Really impressive smoke/rauchbier aroma. More like an American version like Alaskan smoked porter with tons of smokey charcoal, barbecued meat, campfire and butane but doesn’t overpower the roasted and sweet malt notes of chocolate, coffee been, fudge and oatmeal. Smells incredible!
Viscous full body with a slightly less aggressive smoke profile than nose hinted at. Still burnt, smokey, mesquite tasting with charcoal, campfire, barbecued bacon and wood flavor but it’s countered by sweet chocolate, lactic cream, toffee, oatmeal and coffee bean. Full bodied for a porter and the smoke is nicely integrated while remaining the dominant flavor. rouhlas (3616) - GREECE - JUL 5, 2015
330ml bottle at home. Black color with nice creamy brown head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate, caramel, light coffee, some smoked notes. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Full almost creamy body with soft carbonation.

Bouteille. Moustache Blanche. Robe noire huileuse, timide mousse marron. Rating from old notes. A spiced imperial stout with ink black colour and thin beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, liquorice, elderberry syrup, toasted bread; rounded, sweet fruity taste, thick and deep malt backbone, chocolatey accent, soft mouthfeel, dry and long finish with spiciness, roasted bitterness and warming alcohol. Very interesting, too bad it apparently does not exist anymore. MPA (999) - Amager (form. Nørrebro&Aalborg), DENMARK - SEP 18, 2014
Bottle. Aged for a couple of years in my cellar. Black with a nice brown head. Aroma of chocolate, prunes, cocoa, coffee and dark roasted malts. Think palate with a flavour of coffee, roasted malts, cocoa and dark fruit. Sweetness is wrapped with malty, bitter notes reminding of coffee beans. Very solid and powerful flavour. I really like this a lot. daje (4436) - NORWAY - SEP 1, 2014
Sample at Haand Festival 2014. Fully black body with a beautiful brown head. Roasted aroma with dark chocolate, ash, leather and earthy hops. Taste is light peat/smoked wood, dark chocolate, fresh roasted coffee, licorice and a light grass note. Good dry and warm mouthfeel, thick body, roasty finish with ash and leather. This is some good stuff!
