750ml bottle in Vermont on a trip a while back. Hazy golden colour with a white head, some dirty lace and toping on the brew. Grassy nose with the Saison yeast and some tropical fruits. The fruits are also the prime in the taste. Some wild yeast earthiness and sourness. Well-blended, so seems milder all-around. A nice collaboration. tapefuzz (865) - Massachusetts, USA - JUL 28, 2017
750mL bottle. Pours an orangey-amber with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and funky with lots of tangerine, spice, and yeast. Taste is initially tart and tangy before turning drier, earthier, and peppery. Tangerine, spice, pepper, yeast, barnyard, a tiny bit of grain, and an additional harder-to-pin-down fruitiness reminiscent of Fantôme Saison. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Crisp but somewhat thin mouthfeel. As usual, the specific taste components of a Fantôme beer are hard to pin down although it has that patented Fantôme fruit/yeast/spice at its core. The taste and, to an extent, the body never have the depth one expects from Fantôme - something seen in far too many of their collaborations. wombat23 (1829) - Texas, USA - JUL 27, 2017

Surprise surprise, it’s hazy and orange, but the foam lasts a little longer than the other one we opened (Grimm). Aroma is citrus and grass with a touch of rubber. Flavor is hoppier than the other ones I’ve tried recently. I get a little bit of barnyard in this one.
Bottle shared by Bobby - thanks! Pours very hazy orange, small off-white head, some lacing. Aroma is grassy, hints of banana and funk, black pepper and faint citrus notes; almost like a dry hop. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, belgian yeast notes (banana, clove, field grass), hints of citrus and caramel. Medium body. phaleslu (10743) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 11, 2016
Pour from a bottle at the Shelton Brothers Festival. This was at the Arizona Wilderness table; Fantome wasn’t there. Pours a lightly cloudy gold with a small white head that settles into a bubbly ring and film. There’s no mistaking Fantome’s funk, and it’s backed by notes of oak, herbs, cobwebs, black pepper, grass, sweet and bready malts, and faint stone fruits. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a funky, spicy, herbal mouthfeel. Good saison.
