750ml bottle poured into a Pemi Cabin wine glass.
A~ hazy copper, orange. very still with no head.
S~ tart up front, followed by peppery yeasty Belgium goodness!
T~ ohhh tangy! kind of like a oude brown mixed with a flanders red. all that plus the obvious peppercorns and Belgium yeast. more tart then most "regular" Fantome’s.
M~ not carbonated at all lol still very delicious, drinks a lot like a mead and theres nothing wrong with that. i’m gonna try with another bottle to add a fizz drop and rebottle it, we’ll see how that goes.

This beautiful Beer pours a bright and cloudy Golden Color into a beautiful orange nuance that really resembles a beautiful crystallized damask.
Form a cream of good thickness and medium duration, without income formation. Even with a more aggressive pour on the tulip the bubbles are small and uniform which denotes a Medium to Low Carbonation.
Herbal characteristic and sharp Aroma of Flowers of the Field, well Phenolic and primordial yeast, wild let’s say what in the distance transports us or even directs the smell to a slight mold in its formation. Let’s say you can smell a wet peat aroma.
Slightly sour as a rotten wood; A certain shade of flowers, mottled and slightly rotted. There is certain a striking presence of a citrus scent.
These divergent nuances make this beer extremely different to my palate and as much as confusing.
A pronounced phenolic flavor and with the Body very sedimented, which slightly denigrates the taste of the whole. The seasoning inserted into the beer in this way becomes somewhat artificial and mask its subtle. Even then I could notice a light coriander, herbal flowers dissected and a mushroom tone as previously mentioned, however a striking Belgian feature of this Ale is in the whole-grain bread it is made, like a citric tone derived from a green apple in my view and In the sweetness of the banana.
The finish is Dry, again phenolic and well sedimented with a very sour yeast present, which masks at a certain level the flavor of the mentioned spices.
At one point the beer turns out to be rather watery and being very sincere is a rather rough drink when ingested and will only please the taster in his perfect consumption conditions, but that does not make it unpalatable.
It was not shown in my opinion as one of the most pleasant Fantôme I have ever enjoyed, but carries features of this renowned Brewery. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - NOV 10, 2016

Pours a cloudy, bright golden orange color with apricot hues. Completely still and even a very aggressive pour yields only the slightest bubbles that quickly fade into a vanishing thin ring. No lace.
Herbal, phenolic aroma with earthy flowers and a strong musty funky/wild yeast presence. Slightly soily and earthy with damp, rotted wood, wild mushroom and decaying flower petals along with light and citrus fruit esters. Subtle peppery spice as well. Weird but I sort of find it oddly appealing.
Light bodied and almost flat with faint carbonation and a very unpleasant dirty, phenolic flavor dominating the palate. Rubber band and band aid notes are prominent along with subtle spice, dead/dirty flowers and bong water along with bread, green apple and banana. Dry and somewhat chalky in the finish with a strong dirt/phenolic, rotten yeast presence killing off most of the flavor. Very harsh and tough to drink. Gushes instantly. Pours with an equal quantity of foam as beer. Great retention. Pretty orange body with a reddish hue.
And it smells odd. Citrus. Caramel malts. Smokey aroma. Slight acidity.
And it tastes even more odd. Citrus tang. Flavor drops off in the middle and comes back with a smokey and kinda plasticky flavor.
Medium low body. High carbonation. Funny aftertaste.
