Pana duża, dość gruba, szybko opada do chmurki. Barwa pomarańczowa, mętna. Aromat dośc słodki i funky - dojrzałe pomarańcze, morele, siano, pieprz...

75cl bottle from Dany at the brewery in Soy. Pours cloudy deep amber, frothy effervescent off-white head. Aroma is earthy, saison-esque spice. Taste is rich spice, red wine oak, mild sherry. Tastes a lot richer and stronger than 4.7%. Extremely flavoursome, kinda tastes red wine barrel-aged with added bretty complexity. Another cracker from Dany!

Bottle shared. Clear golden with big fluffy off white head. Grassy, quite some bitter herbs, lemon, orange, soft caramel, touch of spices but I don’t get much black pepper. Under medium sweet and medium bitter. Almost medium bodied with nice carbonation and light spicy finish. Quite good.

~10 years old. Copper orange clear color with foam layer. Sour and light acidic and salty nose. The taste is sour and milky salty with hints of soapy touch. Very weirdly clean offset in the aftertaste and a layer on the tongue.

Ritzn (1890) - GERMANY - JUN 29, 2016
Clear amber, a little red-brown with long lasting tan head. Aroma is clove, vanilla, nuts, a little pine cone hops, some spicy booze as well. Taste is mostly champagne-like sour and a little aclohol warmth. Smooth mouthfeel, not much carbonation, long sour and a little bitter finish. Overall Ok, but a the complexity is more like an awkward combination of random stuff for me.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2016 Bottle, about ten years old. Nice amber-orange color with eggshell head. Aroma is horseblanket, dusty yeasts, a bit fruity, desinfection spray, nice funk. Taste is slightly oxidized (but it fits), fruity, tart, dry finish. Good!

Bottle, a decade old? Dusty, spongy, Orval-like barn, horse-blanket. Bright red amber, offwhite foam. Light fruit, a bit caramal, spicy notes, leathery, light oxidized - but it fits! Amazing flavor for the age. Drinkable, fun.

jamestulloch (4367) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 17, 2016
Bottle. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of red apple, peppery spice and a faint sourness. Flavour of grass, minerals, plastic and orange zest. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Subtle and refreshing - quite Saison-like.

daje (4548) - NORWAY - APR 11, 2016
Bottle, may 17th 2015. Hazy orange body with a rather small white head. Aroma is flowery with pepper, herbs and chamomilla. Citric and grainy taste with a medium bitterness, low sweetness, mild funky finish. Fresh herbal aftertaste with a light sweet character.

(Fantôme BBB Dark White) Corked bottle 750 ml, served into a teku at home, ABV 4.7%
Deep golden orange colour on the body, mostly clear, with good activity in it and a very tall and quite thick, white head on too. Very good retention, with light lacing left around the glass.
Nice aroma with light citrus and orange peel, floral notes, light spices, faint yeast.
Quite bitter taste with more citrus now, orange peel, light pine and resin, fresh grass, spices, floral notes, bitterness becomes stronger.
Medium body with good carbonation, quite dry palate.
Very good.
