Pours an amber body with a thin head. Faint funky aroma. Nice creamy taste which is totally destroyed by hop bitterness. Could have been good...

750mL bottle from Beer Cartel. Deep orange/gold with a huge creamy white head. Moderate aroma; citrus peel, dried apricot, pepper & woody spices. Full bodied, drying, lingering somewhat tannic sort of texture to it. Spicy body - very woody, dried herbs, bitter orange peel, slight herbal quality towards the end. Very dry finish, plenty of bitterness lingering with a touch of acidity. Packs a lot into a small Saison!

Une belle bière raffraîchissante, complexe, longue et équilibrée, idéale pour finir une soirée en fraîcheur.

Bottle from Tanakaya shared at a tasting. Hazy orange with a huge soapy head that lingers throughout. Lots of orange, lemongrass and lemon zest on the nose with some grapefruit pith, pepper and grass as it warms....maybe some lime too. Bitter and fruity on the palate with the bitterness really lingering through the finish. Almost like Campari. Lots a carbonation with a light to medium body. Super complex for 4.7% however, quite bitter.

Fra flaske på Haand Ølfestival 29 Mai 15. Delt med Rune. Mørk gylden. Veldig uklar. Kortlivd skum. Forsiktig sitrusaroma. Smaken søt frukt. Blir tørrere og tørrere etter hvert.

tmrmwel (2089) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 28, 2015
Bottle. Pours hazy orange, with a big creamy head. Aroma is tart yeast with wood, caramel malts and perfumey peppery notes. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dry, tart yeast with wood and juniper, roasted malts with cereals, toffee and heather, as well as some herbal hops with orange peel. Dry peppery, wooden finish.
