Amber pour, light head. Aroma has toffee, pepper, yeast, light funk and some earthy, dusty notes. Flavor is dry, spicy, light pepper, funk, malt. Nice! THanks Danny. Great going away tasting from a classy crew of drinkers in Tally.

Bottlw shared at home with Béla and Shonali. Hazy orange colour small white lacing disappears fast. Nose is peach. Taste is medium sweetness, low bitterness. Some alcoholic warmth, despite the low abv. Apple notes.

This flippy top bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a strongly carbonated body semi-transparent and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was musty mild hop and funky. with a mellow funky aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of mild wheat mild spice mild hops and funk. A decent one but not one that I would consider drinking again.

750ml bottle that cork screamed out when cap was opened. Funky-sour aroma, grass and slight sweetness on the nose. Pours a cloudy bright brilliant orange with a rocky white head. Starts fruity with a hint of tart berry. Light fruit and strong yeastiness in the background. Finishes with a mild tarntess, spicey and funky. Nice creamy mouthfeel

Bottle from Piwaregionalne.pl in Katowice.

Bottle Pours murky hazy brown hue with a nice long lasting fizzy eggshell head and no lacing. Nose is musty, estery, slightly barnyard, maybe even a little tart? Flavors really show the tartness throughout the palate-starts slightly funky/barnyard then goes into some bright tartness and finishes with tartness and earthy/almost bready notes. Long finish of lingering funk, bread and earthy saison yeast. Solid beer and pretty interesting profile here. Not a contender to the other Fantome brews though.

Bottle at Heeren Van Liedekercke. Aroma is really nice. Summerfields, summerfruits, sweet. Poured dark gold with a fading head. Taste is rather sweet. Honey, flowers, a bit bitter. Sticky taste in the end.

750ml bottle shared @Pułapka, Gdańsk

Spicy, peppery, with some delicate herbal scents. Taste is spicy, bit sour with some delicate bitterness in the finish.

MelvinKalksma (1581) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 10, 2017

Medium aroma of malts, caramel, orange, bread and spices.

Opaque amber/brown beer with a slight/medium beige head.

Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel and orange; ends slightly bitter and and dry with bread and spices.

This beer is intense, complex and balanced. This is especially true for its abv. There are so many spices here, with even the mentioned black pepper bringing a bit of funky flavour. Amazing farmhouse ale overall.
