750ml bottle at Fantome-a-thon 2012.
Pours clearish yellow, white head, low retention. Aroma is strangely spicey, barnyardy, and fruity all at the same time. Flavor shows some grass, hay, barnyard, tropical fruit, and pepper. In great shape for being 4 or 5 years old.
Spice ale made for the Burgundian Babble Belt, with a rocky, yellowish, stable head and cloudy peach blonde colour. Herbal and complex aroma with soft bready malts in the background, star aniseed, cloves, orange peel, cardboard, honey, ginger, hay; taste orangey and a bit honeyish, maltier in the middle with lots of interesting spiciness going on, ends surprisingly sourish with only mild hopping, almost lambic-like, but the spices linger on equally long. Again a pretty weird, spiced concoction from this fascinating brewery. Dunt (316) - Illinois, USA - JUL 8, 2014
Unfortunately lost my review midway through when my phone crashed so I am going to have to go from pictures and memory. Bottle acquired from Scott via trade, thanks for the opportunity to try this Dood! Opened at Fantomefest 2014. Pours a hazy, pale orange in color with a small white ring around the glass. Nose and taste are heavily similar. I get delicate peach, yogurt, lemon, stone fruit, and general funkiness. Light mouthfeel, delicate carbonation, and a smooth finish. One of the best Fantomes Ive ever had, it doesnt even really remind of me of saison. More like a very complex lambic. Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - JUN 11, 2014

Bottle at Eb’s
Comes to the table a slightly hazy yellow color with a smallish white head that shows moderate retention. Spicy peppery aroma dominates my nostrils and eventually is joined by a hint of funk and some light citrus fruits. The flavor is also spicy funky and peppery with bits of caramel and citrus thrown in there for good measure. Medium to light body with a spirited level of carbonation and a sweet zesty mouthfeel. This is a nice beer, I’m glad I got to try it, but it really wasn’t my favorite. stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - MAY 9, 2012
Pours a clear and golden beer with a white head. The aroma is malt, caramel and hops with citrus and grapefruit. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is bitterness with notes of sweetness. Overall a good beer.
