75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge bobbly white head. Brett-ish dry aroma with a mild acidic note, very very minor chocolate note. Flavour is smooth yeasty without much flavour but some mild malt and yeast. I don’t pick up any chocolate in the flavour. Decent brew, yet not with anything that would warrent a re-try of this. An unclear amber beer with a nice off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast, oranges, and wheat. The flavor is sweet and again with notes of yeast and oranges, with some floweryness in the end. The body is thin. I cannot pick up any chocolate in this beer - weird. joergen (29625) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 30, 2006

Bottled. Reddish brown colour with a small white head. Aroma is very fruity with some slight acidic notes. Also a bunch of barnyard, earth and spices. Flavour is very sour fruits with some rather acidic notes also. Some spices, earth and grass also. I don’t find any chocolate in this one, but oh well, it’s twisted in a Fantomeian way. madmitch76 (26465) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2012

ChrisO ’Night Of The Gaylords’ tasting.Cloudy gold beer. Sourish fruity nose. Earthy malt - mildly sour but not too much so. Very mild chocolate and the lightest touch of chilli heat in the finish. Drinkable if a bit messy.
On tap at its birthplace. Courtesy of a fellow traveler from a small town near Leuven merci mon ami! Slightly hazy, multi-colored golden brown, large white head, good lacing. Aroma of pepper and malt. Taste is sweet from start to finish, hint of cocoa toward the middle, and no detectable hops. Interesting. cgarvieuk (26422) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 21, 2008

Bottled. Cloudy amber. Yeasty, grassy nose. Fairly sweet and generously malty, with an attractive soft mouthfeel. Well hopped and slightly oily. Hop bitter finish. A good beer, but I don’t get any chocolate.
