Scopey (15478) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 21, 2012
Bottle thanks to the ever generous Ken. It pours cloudy golden yellow, with a thick off-white head. The nose is farmyard, funk, sulphur, orange, mango and apricot. The taste is resin, leather, spice, farmyard, apricot yoghurt, orange, mango, peach, citrus pith, funk and alcohol warmth, with a dry finish. Medium body and prickly, champagne-like carbonation. A solid saison. jackl (8300) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 15, 2012
Bottle. Big thanks to Ken for the very generous pour! Deep amber orange color with a tiny white head. The nose s apricot syrup, green shoots, spun sugar. Light yeast and dried flowers. The taste is apricot fruits, light yeast. More orchard fruits and cheesy yeast. A bit of dust. Light dry bitterness on the finish. Soft body, medium carbonation. Overall, a decent saison. Bottle at CPK, big thanks to the K-Man.Pours very cloudy orange with a fine, white foam head. Big and yeasty nose, some caramel, esters, fruits. Medium to big sweet flavor, very yeasty and doughy, some citrus, apricot, banana, light alcohol. Medium bodied with huge carbonation. Mildly warming to finish, lightly dry, very sweet with lots of yeast, banana, melon. Nice enough, but very sweet and not subtle. I like Fantome and I love saisons, but this one is just pretty OK. UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 hazy goldenrod yellow. large white fluffy head. classic fantome funkyness with crisp lemon zest, saison yeast, and a mild earthiness. similar throughout the nose and flavor profile. complex and refreshing. medium to light bodied. deceptive given the abv. speaking of abv, how the hell does dany calculate abv when every bottle of his beer tastes different (but the same)... quite nice, thanks to thorpe for the bottle share! brewolf (169) - Wilderness, WA, USA, - APR 9, 2012
Medium gold with a small, off-white head. Muscat, chervil, persimmon, toasted biscuit, and restrained funk in the nose. Preserved lemon, ripe apricot, dusty/herbal notes, and a bit of savory sea salt in the flavor. Medium body, lively carb, with light bitterness and citrus tartness in the dry finish. 10% is very well hidden, but ultimately hinders drinkability for me. Fantome is always a pleasure, and I love the persimmon chutney note throughout this one. back (2204) - Holstebro, DENMARK - APR 9, 2012

Pours murky grapefruit juice golden in color with the definitive off white bubbly head. The aroma has juicy light orange and saison yeast notes, full. The flavor is similar on a very carbonated body at first which settles well. Does not taste at all like 10% and is juicy and smooth overall. bu11zeye (13140) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - APR 5, 2012
(750ml bottle) Pours a hazy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of florals, persimmons, yeast, and herbs. Flavor of florals, tart lemon, persimmons, apricot, yeast, and orange peel.
