Pours a clear amber body with a thin head. Malmty aroma with a subtle funka. Very nice and somewhat creamy taste with tones of malt and yeast.

hackobock (4029) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 7, 2016
February 7, 2016. Bottle, best before end of 2018.
Light hazy golden with a large creamy white head. Aroma is lime zest, orange, grain, spices, light funk and leather notes. Taste is light tart, a bit dry astringent grain notes, light funk. Finish is citrusy with zesty and pith bitterness, light grainy sweetness, funk, leather, some spicy notes and a touch of alcohol. Medium bodied, average small bubble carbonation.
Aroma is quite intriguing with the dominant citrusy note but it gets too much after a while.

I took of the cap and the cork had already pushed through a bit. It easily burst out, spilling a bit of beer. The carb was huge. It poured almost nothing but foam. I look in the bottle and the glass and it showed bubbles shooting straight up. This beer is horny. Once it settled down, it looked murky orange with plenty of floaties. It carried that usual Fantome smell. It had lots of funkiness, barnyard, limes, spices, cloves, weed, a bit floral, with passion fruit and so on. No rubber, band aids, smoke, or any unusual smell. Taste is in a different territory. It goes hard on lime peel, a bit of copper, some dankness, passion fruit, herbs/spices, cloves and yeast. Really strong tasting. M: Overcarb light, with mild tartness, and bitterness. Overall it was enjoyable. It gave a good Fantome fix and anybody that like fantome knows that this one is pretty awesome.

SlackerMads (3360) - DENMARK - JAN 9, 2016
Bottle. Unclear orange with a large off white head with good retention and lace. Hoppy nose with green plants, wood, hay. Some fruity and floral notes too. The flavour is soapy with perfume, citrus, herbs, light sharp, hay, lemon spirits, campari, cherry soda. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation, some sweetness but carbonation and bitterness takes over into the finish. Odd, quite bitter. Not unpleasant but not something I feel compelled to try again.

Tasting at Maakun’s. Bottle shared by Maakun. Superbloemig blauwe viooltjes. Alsof je een bos bloemen opvreet met huid en haar. Backlog from 2015/10/16.

mecafilo (219) - Perugia, ITALY - DEC 12, 2015
Bottle @ home. Pours with a golden oramge colour, big frothy long lasting white head. Aroma has typical saison notes: herbs, hay, basement aromas; quite clean and elegant. Taste is slightly sweet, medium bitter, medium salty, slightly sour; a bit too salty for me, bu otherwise a more than decent thing. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation.
