ChrisOs ’Donkey Dork Lord’ Pre-GBBF Tasting. Hazy gold beer, tiny white head. Light crisp palate. Tangy lemon. Tastes like an Imperial Shandy! Slightly sour with seltzer like minerals. Well joined up tasty beer.

Super yeasty, right from the get-go. Sour and sharp both in the aroma and taste. Yet strangely, also mellow. Mellow but sharp - what a mysterious synergy. That’s why I love Fantome - you never know what they’ll come up with next!

Almost lemonadey aroma. Given the taste, I can see why - certainly a very melony body. It’s nice and crisp without yeast, but I actually prefer the fuller body of the yeastier glass. Lemon aids the sharpness, but this time detracted from the beer.
Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’11. It pours hazy golden yellow, with a decent foamy white head. The nose is orange, lemon, lime, ginger and yeast. The taste is lemon, tangy orange, mango, apricot, ginger and lime sourness, with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A very tasty, tangy saison. rosenbergh (11809) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 17, 2011
750 ml bottle. Finland.
Hazy orange colour with no head.
Sourness, citrus, freshness and peppermint in fascinating aroma.
Flavour is also very citrusy with some sourness and notes of toothpaste peppermint. Really drinkable for a 8%. An hour and one bottle later it was quite evident that there’s alcohol in it. Interesting and enjoyable brew.
