Bottle 75cl. @ [ Fastelavns Tasting Ulfborg ].yespr (46530) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JAN 13, 2008
Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy, citrus, flowers, dandelion flower ! Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light acidic and sour, moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a fully diminished white head. Light orange aroma, acidic to citric. Flavour is acidic with and orange citric note. Infected citric flavour. Ends with a mild yeasty mellow flavour. A pure waste on me apparently. Ungstrup (38138) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 22, 2008
Bottled. A hazy orange beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of spices, caramel, and malt, whilte the flavor is sweet combined with and acidic edge and quite spice. Very Fantome’ish. anders37 (26824) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAR 26, 2006
Bottle. Hazy dark amber colour with a very big longlasting off-white head. Malty fruity aroma. Aroma of dandelions. You also have the dandelions in the flavor. The flavor is also fruity and malty with some hop bitterness. Long bitter aftertaste. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 23, 2007
Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is earthy, big malts and some hops. Quite sour notes also. Flavour is very sour fruits, earth, yeast and some hops. Very palatetickling thing.

750 ml bottle at Pizzeria Paradiso. Recommendation from Brian. Cloudy orange, almost no head. Aroma of barnyard hay and corn husks. Tastes of lemon and grapefruit, slightly sour with a very short very slightly bitter finish. Interesting. omhper (25372) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 27, 2006
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2007 Bottled. Reddish amber, brief lively head. The nose has less of that interesting winegum than some other Fantôme brews, and instead a vague dryish herbal touch. It’s medium sweet with dense, clean mouthfeel. Estery flavuor with notes of seville orange marmelade and a salty edge. Dangerously drinkable. Though not as directly appealing as the best Fantôme beers, it still is a fascinating, complex and yet refreshing brew. madmitch76 (25101) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 8, 2011

Warning! Early amateur rating! Cloudy amber beer. Sharp and crisp start leads to sour fruit that is refreshing/ Long sweet and sour floral finish. A cracker of a unique beer. Would dearly love to have tried the Special version!
(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of BelJohansen. Hazy, amber golden with a small, creamy, off-white head. Lightly tart, citrusy nose. Medium body with sour, citrusy notes and a fusty edge. Sour in the finish. Yet another terribly overrated Fantôme - jesus... 120108 Leighton (21840) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 22, 2012
Bottle at my CBC birthday, London, thanks to Paul. Pours cloudy gold with a fluffy, white head. Tangy lemon and grass in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with tangy lemon and doughy malts. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly drying on the finish with mild grassy bitterness, more dough and tangy, zesty lemon. Drinks impressively well.
