Review form notes dated 22 October 2011. 75cl bottle at Goblin Pub. Big thanks to Umberto for this one. It pours a hazy light amber colour with a large off-white head. Aroma is grassy and herbal, with notes of dull hops, dried leaves and sunflower seeds. Aroma is quite dry with hints of acidity. Again, grassy and herbal, dry and light funk. Light lemon zest and wood notes. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, quite nice and interesting. dchmela (3062) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JAN 9, 2012
Thanks to Beerlando for sharing this at Fantômepalooza 2011! Cloudy, chunky amber pour with a thick white head. Funky, citrus grapefruit tart aroma. More funky grapefruit, herbal hops with a light crisp malt body. Funky finish, Great stuff. Beerlando (3342) - Orlando, Florida, USA - NOV 26, 2011
750ml bottle, labeled as Fantôme Rucola Tour d’Italie 2006. The pour yields a clear, dark, brassy/copperish amber colored body. A head of smooth, grayish-cream tinted foam is moderately lasting, giving some nice feathered lacing to the glass. The nose is very herbal, suggesting of brown tea with hints of lemon and mint. An old, musty woodiness envelops underlying dry, grassy malt. Fantôme house yeast imparts a suggestion of tartness. Flavors largely follow suit, touching on herbal yerba maté and tea. Tartness is there, but it is somewhat dulled as compared to some other Fantômes. It’s not as musty as the nose suggests, but it is somewhat muddled, likely due to its age. The palate is moderate in substance, semi-dry, and fairly easy drinking. It is slightly under carbonated, but not excessively so. Interesting brew (aren’t all Fantômes? I would like to have tried this fresh. hopscotch (11048) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 23, 2011
Bottle… Fantômepalooza 2011… Dirty orange ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Good retention. The bouquet is dusty, musty and funky, but bursting-at-the-seams with fruity fallen apricot. Medium to full-bodied with reserved carbonation. The flavor is lightly tart, tangy, yeasty and fruity. Tangy warming finish. Big-time thanks to Beerlando for sharing this rare treat! redlight (2318) - Orlando, Florida, USA - NOV 6, 2011

Bottle at 19de Heikantse Bierfeesten. Cloudy rusty brown with a decent offwhite head. Very spicy aroma with lots of coriander. sweet, spicy, fruity flavours with a dry aftertaste. Good body. One of those good Fantôme brews that are very enjoyable, but only a one-off.
